A full-time contract opportunity is available for a passionate and skilled Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide direct and consultative services onsite. Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts TVI license required
• Prior experience working within a professional school setting
• Proven ability to adapt curriculum and materials for students with visual impairments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to liaise with educators, families, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering independence and confidence in students of all ages and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and case management for students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels
• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt instructional materials, technology, and classroom environments to ensure full accessibility
• Consult with classroom teachers and staff to support inclusive practices and strategies
• Provide guidance to families to reinforce skill development and progress
• Advocate for student needs and actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
