Job Description

A part-time position is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in a school setting located in Buford, GA, extending into full-time for the next school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students with visual impairments by providing specialized educational services tailored to their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing individual cases to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Delivering both direct and indirect therapy services focused on visual impairment
  • Tracking progress and maintaining detailed records for seven students across elementary and middle school levels

This contract position runs from March 2026 through May 20th, 2026, with a caseload of seven students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired license for the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of two years of experience working as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
