This opportunity is ideal for educators specialized in supporting visually impaired students within an elementary and middle school setting. Located in Buford, GA, this contract position offers a part-time role for the current school year with the potential to transition to full-time for the following school year, spanning from March 2026 through May 20th, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing cases and coordinating services tailored to each student's unique needs
- Providing both direct and indirect therapy services to support visual impairments
- Tracking and documenting student progress effectively to meet educational goals
- Serving a caseload of seven students across elementary and middle school levels
Qualifications desired:
- Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired license issued by the state of Georgia
- Minimum of two years of practical experience working with visually impaired students
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate with school teams
