- Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Visual Impairment or related field

- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructional programs for students with visual impairments across various grade levels
- Conduct specialized assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure accessibility and inclusivity
- Adapt classroom materials and provide specialized instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and use of assistive technology
- Monitor student progress and document services provided in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training related to vision services
