This unique opportunity involves working closely with a 6th-grade student with a visual impairment on a part-time basis (two 30-minute sessions per month, now through late May 2026). Through direct specialized instruction and collaborative support, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring accessible, inclusive learningwhile gaining insights from colleagues across new settings.

Qualifications:

  • Current Georgia PSC certification with the appropriate Vision Impairment/TVI endorsement
  • Experience designing and delivering individualized instruction for students with visual impairments preferred
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and accessible curriculum strategies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized, individualized instruction based on IEP goals for the student
  • Maintain regular communication and consultation with classroom teachers concerning accessibility and accommodations
  • Monitor and report student progress
  • Support compliance with IEP services and legal requirements
