• Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional services and support to students who are visually impaired
• Adapt and develop educational materials based on individual student needs
• Assess, implement, and teach the use of low vision devices and assistive technology

• Develop and monitor progress on students IEP goals related to visual impairment
• Serve as a consultant and resource to school staff regarding best practices for visual accessibility
