Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized educational programs for students with visual impairments
• Assess and monitor students progress and adjust instruction as necessary

• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive tools to enhance learning opportunities
• Provide orientation and mobility training as appropriate for students
• Maintain detailed documentation on student performance and instructional strategies

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments, or relevant qualifications
• Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of braille, assistive technologies, and accessibility resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
