Job Description

A teaching opportunity is available for a licensed Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to provide telehealth instruction to a high school student enrolled in an Early College Program. This role involves delivering specialized support via remote sessions for 30 minutes to 1 hour per week.

Location: Cadiz, KY
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 26, 2027
Schedule: Flexible remote sessions, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour weekly
Assignment: Single high school student in the Early College Program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized telehealth instruction tailored to the needs of a high school student who is deaf or hard of hearing
  • Collaborate with district personnel and adhere to established educational plans
  • Provide ongoing progress updates and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all district and contractual guidelines, including completion of onboarding and fingerprinting requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Teacher of the Deaf License required
  • Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students, preferably in a telehealth setting
  • Ability to adapt instruction effectively for remote delivery methods
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for managing a caseload and reporting

Additional Details:
