Remote Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Needed
VocoVision is looking to hire a fully remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to for a FULL TIME position for the 26/27 school year. Seeking someone who has experience working with the Tennessee IEP System and hold active Massachusetts certification in Deaf Education.
Job Details:
- Fully Remote
- Full Time (37.5 Hours)
- Design and deliver standards-aligned lessons in a bilingual (ASL/English) environment.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in school committees.
- Develop individualized instructional plans and track student progress.
- Foster strong relationships with students and families to support academic and social growth.
- Provide direct and consultative services for students across multiple schools
- Support general education teachers in differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee DHH Licensure
- Special Education Specialist: Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Ages 0-21)
- ASL proficiency
- 2 years of in-person school-based experience
