This opportunity is for a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, based in South San Francisco, CA. The role involves working within an educational setting to provide tailored instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, ensuring their academic success and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with families, audiologists, speech therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Assess student performance and maintain accurate records of academic and behavioral development.

- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
