Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Proven experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in school settings
- Strong understanding of various communication methods, including American Sign Language (ASL), Signed Exact English (SEE), and other assistive technologies
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting lessons for diverse communication styles
