Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time position in the San Antonio, Texas area for next school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas educator certification
- Must be fluent in ASL
- Undergraduate Degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education, Master's Degree is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in Math and/or core English content to elementary, middle, or high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Adapt and deliver lessons to meet the communication and learning needs of students
- Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) fluently to support instruction and student engagement
- Collaborate with school staff to support student success across academic settings
