This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to collaborate with an energetic educational community near Roxbury, MA. As a key resource, youll help create accessible learning opportunities, working closely with students, teachers, and families to support academic growth and inclusion.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) license.
• Previous experience in a professional school environment.
• Deep understanding of Deaf culture, communication strategies, and current instructional best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to a range of student abilities and ages (K-12).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
• Apply specialized instructional strategies to support language development, academic success, and self-advocacy.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster accessible classrooms.
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with parents and the educational team.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development sessions.
