Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in a contract position serving K-12 learners. You'll work onsite in a welcoming educational environment near Quincy, MA, using your expertise to empower students across grade levels to engage confidently in their academic and social experiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Massachusetts TDHH license
  • Prior experience working in professional school settings
  • Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with educators, families, and specialists
  • Flexibility to support diverse student needs from kindergarten through high school
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, in both individual and group settings
  • Adapt and implement curriculum to make learning accessible for all students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure inclusion and appropriate accommodations
  • Assess student progress and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and transition planning
  • Serve as a resource on strategies, technology, and advocacy for students and staff
