An opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support students in a dynamic school environment in Prosper, TX. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and accommodate hearing access needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and audiologists to support student learning and communication development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Utilize assistive technology and specialized equipment to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide advocacy and resources to students and their families.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to student progress and services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

- Knowledge of communication methods including American Sign Language (ASL), auditory-verbal therapy, or other modalities.
- Ability to create engaging, accessible instructional materials.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
