What youll need to succeed:

  • Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility in relevant state
  • Experience working in educational settings with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Strong understanding of language acquisition, audiology, and assistive technologies
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work alongside general educators, speech-language pathologists, and families
  • Passion for empowering students and supporting diverse learning styles

What youll be responsible for:

  • Providing direct and consultative services to students with hearing loss in various grade levels
  • Adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies for optimal accessibility
