This full-time, onsite contract position is for the 2026-2027 academic year, helping students thrive academically and socially. Youll make a significant difference by providing specialized instruction and advocacy to empower each learner.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Solid understanding of Deaf culture, ASL, and/or other communication modalities
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work onsite throughout the contract term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing differences
- Adapt curriculum materials and employ best instructional practices for DHH learners
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Advocate for student access to communication, technology, and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress, adjust goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Create a nurturing and accessible classroom environment
