Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid DHH teaching credential and current CTC are required
  • Experience providing educational services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Strong consultative skills for collaboration with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to various school environments and manage an itinerant schedule
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consultative support and direct services to students with hearing loss from early childhood through transition ages, traveling between schools as needed
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, support personnel, and families to maximize student success
  • Assess student needs, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to individualized educational planning
  • Monitor and report on student progress in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide guidance on accommodations, technology use, and strategies that promote student inclusion and achievement
