Preferred Qualifications:
- Current LA TDHH License required
- Experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or with similar student populations
- Strong knowledge of educational strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional services to students with hearing impairments
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to adapt curriculum and classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to student goal-setting, and communicate regularly with families and team members
- Support social-emotional growth and advocate for student success throughout the school community
