A school in Meridian, ID is seeking a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to join their educational team under a contract position. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, ensuring they have access to a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique learning needs of students with hearing loss
- Utilize assistive technology and communication strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and families to promote student success

Qualifications:
