Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) or equivalent credentials.

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or familiarity with other communication methods.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and train teachers and staff in inclusion strategies and accessibility accommodations.

  • Serve as an advocate and resource for students and families, guiding them through educational challenges.
