Job Description

Seeking a skilled educator specialized in Deaf and Hard of Hearing instruction to support students in a school setting located in Lawrence, KS. This is a contract position ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact on the academic and social development of students with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and related service providers to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Utilizing assistive technologies and communication methods appropriate for each student's unique needs
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies accordingly

Desired qualifications and experience:
