Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Provide direct instruction, assessment, and ongoing progress monitoring for students.

  • Communicate regularly with families to involve them in their childs educational journey.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification/license as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or equivalent credentials.

  • Knowledge of assistive listening devices, sign language, and auditory-verbal teaching methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
