Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position provides the chance to empower young learners, collaborate with a dedicated educational team, and help students realize their fullest potential.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
  • Previous school-based experience working with D/HH students preferred
  • Strong background in language development, auditory/oral or sign language approaches
  • Skilled in adapting instructional materials and strategies for diverse learners
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, accessible classroom environment
  • Solid communication and collaboration abilities to work with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning and access
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with students needs
  • Monitor progress and adjust instructional methods as required
  • Advocate for students educational and communication needs
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive school culture
