Located in Irving, TX, this contract position offers an opportunity to serve as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at a K-12 school. This role supports PreK to 6th-grade students and is designed to run from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of students from PreK to 6th grade with hearing impairments.
• Conduct evaluations and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
• Read and interpret audiograms to assist in programming and support.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Teaching License through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
• Experience in Texas school settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and accommodations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Ability to work on-site exclusively.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time or part-time position offering 21 to 35 hours per week.
• Workdays are 7 hours long, with a minimum commitment of 3 days and the option to work up to 5 days per week.
