Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid credential for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students (state-required certification)
- Previous experience as a DHH Teacher in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt instructional materials for individual student needs
- Comfort working onsite in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of current best practices, accommodations, and technologies for DHH learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to a designated student per individualized education plans
- Assess progress and tailor teaching strategies to maximize student engagement
- Participate in team meetings and consult with other educational professionals
- Support communication between students, families, and staff
