Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education or Special Education with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
- Hands-on experience teaching or supporting students with hearing loss in educational settings
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to utilize communication methods aligned with student needs
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including speech-language pathologists and audiologists
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instructional support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, both in mainstream and specialized settings
- Adapt curriculum materials to meet the unique needs of each learner
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support full participation in classroom activities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students goals
- Engage and communicate regularly with families about student progress and resources

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $57.15. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
