Key Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification
- Experience working with students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort traveling between multiple school buildings as needed
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and age groups
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Role Overview:
- Provide direct and consultative services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other service providers
- Support access to the general curriculum through accommodations and technology
- Monitor and document student progress
- Travel between different school sites within the district, as assigned
- Work an average of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs
