Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification
• Experience teaching or supporting students with hearing differences in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and grade levels
• Willingness to travel between school buildings as required by caseload
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with students, families, and educational teams
• Comfort with virtual interview and consultation formats, including Zoom

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with varying levels of hearing loss, from preschool through high school
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, interpreters, and other related service providers to develop and implement appropriate educational plans
• Support students integration and success in mainstream educational environments
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring tailored to each students unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and maintain detailed educational records
• Travel to multiple school sites as necessary to ensure timely support for all assigned students
