Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or eligibility for endorsement
• Proven experience working with students with varying degrees of hearing loss
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Proficiency in sign language and familiarity with assistive technology
• Ability to design and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Initiative, flexibility, and dedication to fostering an inclusive school climate

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Adapt curriculum and deliver instruction using a variety of communication modalities
• Coordinate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations are met
• Engage parents and caregivers as partners in their childs education
• Maintain documentation and report on student progress
• Provide input on the selection and effective use of hearing assistive devices and resources
• Participate in relevant professional development and school meetings
