Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TDHH) for a part-time onsite school-based role around Columbus, Ohio for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional and consultative services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.
  • Support students of various ages and caseloads.
  • Travel between school sites as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Ohio Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
  • School-based experience preferred.

  • Travel between different school buildings may be required depending on the daily schedule.
