A contract opportunity is available for a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in the Groveport, OH area. This position is designed for flexible professionals who excel at working across various age groups and enjoy collaborating with multiple schools to help students thrive.
What Youll Bring:
- Valid Ohio TDHH certification required
- Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students in educational settings
- Understanding of diverse communication needs and instructional strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt to a flexible weekly schedule and travel between school sites as needed
What Youll Do:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments, adapting lessons to meet individualized education plans
- Serve a diverse caseload that may include various ages and needs, ensuring every students access to the curriculum
- Travel to different buildings within the district as necessary, based on caseload and scheduling
- Develop effective strategies in collaboration with classroom teachers and other specialists, supporting student inclusion
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and student progress monitoring
- Utilize technology and resources to facilitate learning and communication
Highlights of This Position:
- Contract role for the 2026-2027 school year (8/11/2026 to 5/21/2027)
- 10 hours per week with a flexible schedulespecific hours can be adjusted to best support students and your availability
