In this role, youll address current needs for a qualified Deaf/Hard of Hearing educator, as well as have the potential to support expanding services should upcoming needs arise. Your ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and foster student growth will be key to your success in this position.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education (state requirements apply)
• Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in school settings
• Proficiency in sign language (ASL or other communication modes as required)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teams, students, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and support evolving needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Partner with classroom teachers and staff to ensure accessible educational experiences
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Advocate for students access, accommodations, and inclusion
• Offer consultation and training to staff and families as appropriate
