Qualifications:

• West Virginia Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Certification
• Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfort with direct instruction, planning, and documentation
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 2.5 hours of direct instructional services per week to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Dedicate 2.5 hours weekly to planning, documentation, and collaborating with educators and families
• Manage a manageable caseload of 5 students, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and administrators
• Support the general education curriculum while advocating for students rights and access
• Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
