Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Current Georgia Educator Certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher
• Strong knowledge of best practices for DHH instruction and accommodations
• Effective time management skills, including the ability to maintain daily service logs as required
• Flexibility to serve diverse caseloads across various buildings as determined
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, based on IEP goals
• Partner with general and special education teams to create accessible learning experiences
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Complete and maintain daily logs to document all services provided
• Communicate consistently with school staff and families to ensure student success

What You Can Expect This position offers a stable, full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) from August 2026 through May 2027, with potential pre- and post-planning days. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with forward-thinking education professionals at a supportive district.
