Job Description

This contract opportunity welcomes a dedicated educator to work onsite, closely partnering with students on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). With a part-time schedule of 11.5 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, youll have the unique chance to foster student growth while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Educator
  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments across K-12 grade levels
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and ability to tailor instruction to support individual learning goals
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with education teams and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and academic support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, in alignment with their IEPs
  • Monitor and document student progress to ensure educational goals are being met
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to coordinate services and strategies for student success
  • Communicate regularly with families and team members to provide updates and insights regarding student achievement
  • Participate in Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process
