A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available near Palm City, Port Salerno, and Jensen Beach, FL, supporting educational settings focused on Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and effective sign language interpretation for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Collaborate closely with Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to enhance communication and learning outcomes
• Support classroom instruction by facilitating real-time interpretation during lessons and school activities
• Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the individual needs of students and staff
• Assist with communication between students, teachers, parents, and other school personnel as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings
• Familiarity with the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work full time with a flexible and professional attitude
