Make a meaningful impact supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing throughout the 2026-2027 academic year in a contract position based near Fort Benning, Georgia. Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Educator Certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) required
- Experience teaching students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school settings preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills necessary, including comfort with maintaining daily service logs
- Flexibility to work at multiple school buildings as needed
- Passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional and support services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to help students achieve educational goals
- Maintain timely and accurate daily logs of all services rendered
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and planning sessions
- Maintain clear communication with school teams across buildings
This contract begins August 3, 2026, and ends May 21, 2027, with the possibility of additional days for planning.
