Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification required
  • Experience teaching or supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in school settings
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional methods based on individual student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations for students with hearing needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instructional services for a designated 6th-grade student for 120 minutes each month
  • Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to align instructional goals
  • Offer guidance on effective strategies, modifications, and accommodations
  • Track and report on student progress, making recommendations for ongoing support
