Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification required
- Experience teaching or supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in school settings
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional methods based on individual student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations for students with hearing needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional services for a designated 6th-grade student for 120 minutes each month
- Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to align instructional goals
- Offer guidance on effective strategies, modifications, and accommodations
- Track and report on student progress, making recommendations for ongoing support
- Participate in IEP meetings or consultations as needed
