Job Description

The role offers flexible hourschoose between a full schedule of 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or a reduced part-time schedule of 10-15 hours over two days per week. Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia teaching license for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) through GaPSC
  • Demonstrated experience or training in implementing effective strategies for DHH students
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and educational support to DHH students across K-12 grades
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans and instructional materials to meet individualized needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure integrated support for each student
  • Assess student progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Advocate for technology and resources that enhance accessibility for DHH learners
