Desired Qualifications:

• Current Ohio TDHH certification required
• Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ideally in K-12 educational settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a wide range of student needs and abilities
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Willingness to travel between multiple school buildings (travel may be required depending on caseload)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments, supporting their language, academic, and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, administrators, families, and other service providers
• Assess student progress, support IEP development, and document outcomes
• Develop and adapt materials to support accessible instruction
• Coordinate schedules to best serve students individual needs, flexibly working up to 10 hours per week
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
