Desired Qualifications:
- Current Ohio TDHH certification required
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ideally in K-12 educational settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a wide range of student needs and abilities
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Willingness to travel between multiple school buildings (travel may be required depending on caseload)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments, supporting their language, academic, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, administrators, families, and other service providers
- Assess student progress, support IEP development, and document outcomes
- Develop and adapt materials to support accessible instruction
- Coordinate schedules to best serve students individual needs, flexibly working up to 10 hours per week
- Attend meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
