Job Description

Support students communication and educational success as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to positively impact K-12 learners in a diverse and collaborative school setting near Cambridge, MA.

Youll work closely with students, families, and education professionals to deliver tailored instruction and support, empowering each child to reach academic and social milestones. Your expertise as a TDHH will help create inclusive classrooms and advocate for the needs of those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

What youll bring:

  • Current Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) license
  • Prior professional experience working in schools
  • Deep understanding of deaf/hard of hearing student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and equity

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students across the K-12 age range
  • Partner with general educators to adapt curricula and ensure accessible learning experiences
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Utilize assistive technologies and communication strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative planning sessions
  • Advocate for students needs and rights within the school community

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
