Key Qualifications:
- Valid credential as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Previous experience serving students with hearing loss in educational settings
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and inclusive instructional strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities include:
- Providing specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and related professionals to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals related to hearing support
- Serving as a resource for colleagues and families on best practices and available tools
