This position involves providing specialized educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, facilitating their academic and social development within a school environment.

Location: Bloomingdale, GA (Travel assignment)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and families to support student learning
• Use specialized techniques and technology to enhance communication and accessibility
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Provide direct instruction in language, literacy, and communication skills tailored to student needs

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with endorsement or specialization in deaf/hard of hearing education
