Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Strong understanding of various communication modes, including ASL, cued speech, and oral approaches
• Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, preferably in a school setting
• Ability to assess, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for supporting student achievement and building self-confidence

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction that accommodates each students preferred communication method and learning style
• Develop and manage IEPs in partnership with related service providers, families, and educators
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages social and academic growth
