• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities

• Strong collaborative skills to work alongside general education staff, families, and support professionals
• Dedication to fostering self-advocacy and independence for students

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with hearing loss
• Assess student needs and monitor progress using targeted assessments and data tracking
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and implement goals, supports, and accommodations
• Consult with classroom teachers to create accessible, engaging classroom environments
• Offer guidance and resources to educators and families, promoting student success both in and out of the classroom
• Support students with self-advocacy, communication, and social-emotional growth
