A school in Atlanta, GA is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to join their educational team on a contract basis. This role involves supporting students with hearing impairments by providing tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, audiologists, and classroom teachers to support student development.
