Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with other communication modalities
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and classroom accommodations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and creativity in instructional strategies
Key Responsibilities:
