Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with assistive listening devices
• Ability to develop and adapt curriculum for diverse communication and language needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with school teams, families, and specialists
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies for optimal learning outcomes
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students with hearing differences
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with school staff to ensure full participation for all students
• Train and support classroom teachers on best practices for inclusion and communication accessibility
