Job Description

Sunbelt is interested in interviewing and hiring a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing near Ashland, Virginia.

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Contract (flexible based on candidate needs)

Schedule: MondayFriday, following district calendar
Date: ASAP through end of the school year, with long-term potential
Setting: In-person, multiple school sites, K12th grade

Job Details:

  • We are seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support students at multiple sites within the district. This position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time candidates.
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time available, Monday through Friday schedule tailored to candidate needs
  • Assignment: Multiple school sites within the district, serving K12th grade students
  • Services: A mix of direct and consultative services

Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia TDHH Certification required
  • Experience providing both direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Ability to work across multiple school sites
  • Availability to start quickly (ASAP)
