Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to provide specialized instruction and support to students with deaf and hard-of-hearing needs in a K-12 classroom for a part time assignment for the duration of this school year in the Ashland VA Area.

TDHH Full Time Position Details:

  • Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • Assignment: K-12 classrooms

TDHH Full Time Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
  • Manage and support assistive listening devices and related technology.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with SLPs, audiologists, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor student progress and provide appropriate instructional support.

TDHH Full Time Requirements:

  • TDHH Certification for California required
  • PPS Credential required
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
