What Were Looking For:
- Licensure or certification to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and/or American Sign Language
- Classroom experience with high school-aged learners
- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language
- Skilled in adapting curriculum and instruction for a range of learning needs
- Ability to foster an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
- Collaborative attitude for working closely with general educators and support staff
- Commitment to student advocacy and academic success
Your Daily Impact:
- Deliver engaging ASL and core content lessons for high school students
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student progress
- Develop and modify lesson plans and materials
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Track student achievements and offer meaningful feedback
