Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education, or related endorsements.
• Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Previous experience supporting high school students, especially those with diverse communication needs.
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing learners.
• Passion for empowering students and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide ASL instruction and support across core academic subjects for high school students.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to address individual learning styles and needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and collaborate with fellow educators, families, and support staff.
• Foster an accessible, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
