A school in Albany, OR is seeking a skilled Teacher for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing for a contract position. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Use specialized instructional strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, and audiologists to support student progress.
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Provide direct instruction in speech, language, and auditory skills.
- Train and advise school staff and families on communication strategies and accommodations.

- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
